or one of my favorites John Petrucci of Dream Theater.
With that in mind, here's my top 5 rock guitarists.
5. Kirk Hammett (Metallica)
Hard to pass up Metallica. They may have a reputation for being a bunch of PIAs but they are awesome musicians and Kirk tears up his guitar.
4. Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot, Ozzy)
Ozzy didn't bring metal quite mainstream but he at least got rock and roll fans talking about it. A lot of the reason is Randy Rhoads's guitar.
3. Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Maybe my personal favorite. His guitar is like a voice in some of the best-known rock songs of all time.
2. Eddie Van Halen
Eddie is an idiot savant. He can barely speak English but his guitar does all his talking for him. He's a god.
Start with Little Guitars (not really a video, but the guitar is awesome)
And finish with the greatest VH song and video ever: Hot For Teacher.
1. Jimi Hendrix
Jimi's guitar was an extension of his body. He might be the best guitar player ever, as he could play anything.
What? No Satriani? No Steve Vai? No Stevie Ray Vaughn? No Eric Clapton? Hey, I like 'em all but these are my favs.

Talk about out of control spending...

According to the Politico, the RNC has spent an astounding $150,000+ in the last month on - get this - Sarah Palin's wardrobe, hair, and make up. Not since learning that Mr. Adams repeatedly drops four figures on suits at grossly overpriced men's stores, have I heard of such sartorial excesses. She's apparently the world's only hockey mom (other than perhaps Mrs. Gretsky) to drop in a single month: $50,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, $75,000 at Neiman Marcus, $10,000 at Macy's, $5,000 at Bloomingdales, and an additional $5,000 on hair and makeup. I wonder if Joe Six Pack would approve of his campaign donation going the beautification of Sarah Palin? But I am sure the RNC will soon announce the silver lining - concocted once the bad press rolls in - that it will claim to be donating Palin's fancy new threads to charity.

I hope he'll be okay. It can be scary for the elderly to be left all alone. What could his guardians have been thinking?John McCain Accidentally Left On Campaign Bus Overnight
